Rage 2

Release date: 14 May 2019 (PS4 | Xbox One | PC)

While it has been 9 years since the first game, Rage 2 picks up right where its predecessor left off, throwing players back into a chaotic apocalyptic wasteland full of mutants, marauding savages, and all kinds of bizarre creatures trying to kill you. Although, this time, there’s some tongue-in-cheek humour injected into the otherwise bleak scenario, and in addition to a ton of crazy weapons, players can also activate special powers and ability boosts – such as a quick teleportation attack – to get an edge in combat. The game also features vehicular combat, including trucks, buggies and gyrocopters, with the player being able to drive any vehicle in the game’s world.

Blood & Truth

Release date: 28 May 2019 (PS4 VR)

The PS VR hasn’t had too much love as of late, but this month, Playstation’s immersive headset will see the release of Blood & Truth – a British-crime-inspired action game throws you into the role of a Special Forces officer who has to infiltrate the London underworld to find his loved one. It’s jam-packed full of explosive car chases, casino shootouts, and some snarky one-liners that would’ve be out of place in Snatch.
