Which Smartphone Brand Has The Most Loyal Users?

0

When you buy or upgrade to your next smartphone, the odds are you’ll stick to the same brand that you’re currently using.

Brand loyalty is vitally important to tech companies, after all, there are many other brands making products similar to theirs.

The most notoriously loyal smartphone users are Apple users. You’ll often find their most loyal fans – often referred to as ‘sheeple’ – taking to social media and comments sections to tell the world how amazing their latest iDevice is. While you may or may not agree with the belief that Apple is best, you can’t deny that the company is incredibly good at customer retention.

Morgan Stanley had recently done a survey which showed that 92 percent of iPhone owners upgrading within the next twelve months will stick to iPhone.

The smartphone brand which took second place in terms of brand loyalty is Samsung. While only 77 percent of people saying they would buy another Samsung handset the again next time round, this is impressive considering the recent mishaps the company has faced with the Galaxy Note 7.

What’s even more interesting is that the third, fourth and fifth places are taken up by LG, Motorola and Nokia.

LG has been known to make great handsets, the G6 being their best to date, but Motorola has not made as big of a comeback as its parent company – Lenovo – had hoped and Nokia is only gearing up to make a comeback with its new 3310 and pure Android powered handsets.

NB: The survey was conducted in the United States where Huawei does not have much presence, however Motorola does.
