Video Games & Sport

0

If you love sports then you would understand how bad some sports video games have been over the years.  There is always something missing; either the game play is too easy, the action unrealistic or a crucial element of the particular sport is missing. Blame the developers, the sports bodies that have licensed their teams’ intellectual property to an “outsider” who has little understanding of the dynamics involved or keep on hoping that it will get better. I subscribe to the second line of thought and generally try to watch game video clips before spending money to purchase the game.

Motorsport for some or other reason have been the closest to getting the video game area right. Formula One, MotoGP and recently World Superbikes have all shown that with proper graphics and realistic game play (i.e. a crash leads to a lack of performance that can lead to a retirement) a decent experience is possible for the fan.

So what are you waiting for, purchase a video game today to experience it yourself.
