Adobe has completed the purchase of EchoSign. You might wonder what the relevance of this announcement is. Simple. It is all about digital signatures. In an era where paper is being phased out to make way for digital documentation and products, this is a significant move by Adobe.
Being able to ensure that the sender of the document is legitimate and that the document has not been altered since it was sent is a critical part of the digital process. It ensures trust. It also places something other than an email address as a ”trust signature” for the receiver of any digital document.

Software is something we cannot live without, whether we want to admit it or not. Following on from my post on Anti-Virus software, I want to have a look at “creative software“. It is the software that designers and web developers use to create graphics, logo’s etc.

If you read blogs focused on technology then you would be aware that Apple and Adobe have been having some issues with one another. It all started with the iPhone and then the wound got re-opened with the iPad. Apple has not allowed Flash to be functional on their devices.
There are multiple reasons:
It decreases the battery life of Apple products.
It adds another layer between the device and the operating software which can lead to hacking.
The Apple products (iPhone, iPod and iPad) are used via a touch screen and fingers and not a mouse as in the case of a regular PC.
