So, I finally made it to an event. After being on the 27 Dinner waiting list in March, I finally got my chance to go to an event attended by like-minded people in the industry. Onno and I went along, and I’m proud to say we were in the last four people left. Not sure everyone left so early, but maybe it was just one of those days. LCD televisions will account for 33 percent of the global TV market this year, up from 21 percent in 2006, according to Lehman Brothers. LCD TVs will overtake glass-tube sets as the biggest TV technology in 2008, according to DisplaySearch.
