The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It

Release date: 4 June 2021

The now long-running Conjuring franchise continues with the third primary instalment in the mainline series, bringing back Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as Lorraine and Ed Warren, who investigate the true-life story of the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect claimed demonic possession as a defence.

Awake

Release date: 9 June 2021 (Netflix)

Global hysteria ensues after a mysterious catastrophe wipes out all electronics and takes away humanity’s ability to sleep. Scientists race against the clock to find a cure for the unexplained insomnia before its fatal effects eliminate the human race. Awake stars Gina Rodriguez and Ariana Greenblatt.

The Misfits

Release date: 11 June 2021

Pierce Brosnan, Rami Jaber, Hermione Corfield, and Jamie Chung star in this action flick about a band of modern-day Robin Hoods, who recruit a renowned thief to help steal millions in gold bars stashed underneath one of the world’s most secure prisons.

The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard

Release date: 16 June 2021

Starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is a sequel to the 2017 film The Hitman’s Bodyguard and picks up a few years after the first film, where Reynolds and Jackson’s characters have to reunite their uneasy alliance for a new mission. Salma Hayek, Frank Grillo, Richard E. Grant, Tom Hopper, Antonio Banderas and Morgan Freeman also feature.

Fast & Furious 9: The Fast Saga

Release date: 25 June 2021

The big, bombastic, and over-the-top action franchise is back, and this instalment promises to the boldest of the series.
