Nokia will finally be releasing a flagship smartphone

0

For a while, rumours have been circulating about Nokia creating a flagship smartphone which would boast specs to equal those found in current flagship devices such as the Galaxy S8.

When Nokia announced that it had rekindled its partnership with Carl Zeiss, speculation ran wild that the new handset would indeed feature optics created by the company.

Well it seems like HMD Global, the company behind the Nokia brand, is finally ready to unveil the rumoured Nokia 8 to the world. The company has sent out invitation for a launch event which will be taking place in London on 16 August 2017.

According to rumours, the Nokia 8 is expected to have a dual-camera setup with 13MP sensors and Carl Zeiss optics. It’s also expected to have a 5.3-inch display (2560 x 1440), Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor, either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and potentially have dual-SIM models.
