This year has been a creative firecracker of a year in advertising. With Cape Town being awarded 2014 World Design Capital, I’d say we’ve had a pretty good creative year too! I’m glad I can finally write this post! What started off as an experiment to see if it was possible to compare flights in South Africa, has finally culminated in the beta release of our new flight search. That magic homepage

So, after much deliberation, hybridisation and improvisation, the homepage has been functioning in fantastic fashion. The initial page was effective, but slow and some simple optimisation has seen the load time drop to around 3 seconds. That’s probably the fastest load time of most pages in the industry, and with all those roll-overs too .
