Nokia Announces 6 New Phones for SA

Finnish smartphone giant Nokia has announced its biggest launch to date featuring six new smartphones – Nokia X20, Nokia X10, Nokia G20, Nokia G10, Nokia C20 and Nokia C10. These devices have been streamlined into three distinct lines. The top of the range Nokia X-series, intermediate G-series and entry-level C-series.

Nokia says the new devices in the line-up will all deliver the quality experience that consumers have come to expect from the mobile company. Products that are built to last inside and out thanks to top-notch security, superior durability, and the promise to provide the latest software, so consumers can keep their phones for longer.

Here’s a quick glance at what you can expect from the new Nokia lineup for this year:

X-series launch: Nokia X20 and Nokia X10

Nokia X20Taking the position as top tier devices, the Nokia X20 and Nokia X10 offer flagship features for power users. Nokia says these new devices push the boundaries of the mid-range smartphone by providing features and quality far above their price tag.

The Nokia X20 and Nokia X10 are both powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G Mobile Platform. This is matched with three years of security and software updates for extra peace of mind. A wide 6.67-inch Full HD+ punch-hole display screen puts content on display in the best way possible.

Looking at the camera, the Nokia X20 features a 32MP front camera and 64MP rear quad camera boasting  Zeiss lens technology. The Nokia X10 features a 48MP quad-camera with Cinematic capture, and is complemented with a full suite of pro editing tools, so you can personalise, style and share stand-out content that inspires others.

Both the Nokia X20 and Nokia X10 also come with a 100% compostable case in the box – designed to be tough on the ground but soft on the earth, it reduces waste and keeps your phone protected from accidental breakage.

The Nokia X20 will be available in select markets globally starting May in Midnight Sun and Nordic Blue colour options and comes in 6/128GB and 8/128GB configurations. The Nokia X10 will be available in select markets globally starting June in Forest and Snow colour options and comes in 6/64GB, 6/128 GB and 4/128GB configurations. No definite dates have been confirmed for South Africa yet.

G-series launch: Nokia G20 and Nokia G10

The Nokia G20 will be available in select markets globally starting May in Night and Glacier colour options and comes in 4/64GB and 4/128GB configurations. The Nokia G10 will be available in select markets globally starting late April in Night and Dusk colour options and comes in 3/32GB and 4/64GB configurations. No definite dates have been confirmed for South Africa yet.

C-series: Welcomes the Nokia C20 and Nokia C10

Nokia C20

With this entry-level series, Nokia promises to bring amazing value to consumers by offering high-quality smartphone technology at an accessible price. The Nokia C10 will be available in select markets globally in Light Purple and Grey colour options and comes in 1/16GB, 1/32GB and 2/16GB configurations.
