Dolittle

Release date: 10 January 2020

With Robert Downey Jr. finishing his time in the Avengers franchise, the 54-year-old actor now has some time to explore other roles, and his next being Dr. John Dolittle himself in retelling of Dolittle, which tells the story of a man gifted with extraordinary powers to understand and speak to animals. The film takes a bit more of a mature look at the life of the eccentric doctor, and features the voice talents of Antonio Banderas, Michael Sheen, Jim Broadbent, Jessie Buckley, John Cena, Harry Collett, Rami Malek, Kumail Nanjiani, and Octavia Spencer, alongside Downey Jr.

The Grudge

Release date: 17 January 2020

Horror fans will be glad to see The Grudge back, with the Japanese horror getting a new reboot. Produced by Sam Raimi, the new iteration stars Andrea Riseborough and John Cho as they investigate a house haunted by a vengeful ghost.

Bad Boys For Life

Release date: 24 January 2020

Infamous Miami cops Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnet are back, as Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprise their roles in Bad Boys for Life, the third instalment in the beloved Bad Boys franchise. The sequel sees the duo take on a new threat in the Miami crime underground, while balancing their partnership and personal lives in the process. Directing duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are behind the sequel, who are also working on the next Beverly Hills Cop entry.
