The end of an era..

The Sunday past was a very sad day. Jack Tramiel, the founder of the legendary Commodore 64 passed away at the age of 83. Tramiel can be credited with bringing joy to various households through his personal computer. Home computing done the Commodore way has evolved into console gaming, which has become a way to relax. The commodore 64 is a device that I own and have given an honorary place in my gadget collection. It was initially played like there was no tomorrow and as technology has evolved it has gotten full of dust. I can vividly remember the terrible graphics and the constant jarring of the...

Sony adds a bow to the PlayStation 3

Console gaming at the moment is a very interesting industry. There is a challenge from Apple via their iPad & iPod ranges to add mobile gaming into the console gaming space. Symantec is well known for their Anti Virus software (Norton) and being part of  Huawei Symantec made sense....

Is colour the new black?

When I think of technology and gadgets, metal and composite materials come to mind. It is based on observation on how the items look and feel in general. In my opinion, some products are bland and boring which contributes to poor sales numbers. Just look at the popularity of the white iPhone and other cellphones such as the BlackBerry Torch. With the above in mind, I have started observing a trend that is beginning to emerge. The best example of this trend is seen with Headphones. The look that we are all familiar with: Now, various manufacturers have started to create multi coloured headphones as a...
