The PriceCheck Web Icon for Apple devices

Tired of having to open a Safari browser on your iPhone in order to use PriceCheck? We have a nifty solution that will ensure that you can use PriceCheck on your iPhone or iPod touch by using just one tap.

How to create the PriceCheck Web icon for Apple devices:

  1. Open the PriceCheck mobile website on your Apple device (iPhone and iPod) in Safari.

  2. To bookmark this – or any other page – you simply tap on the menu symbol (third item from the left) along the bottom of the screen, which brings up:

  3. On the menu that has emerged, tap on Add to Home Screen. Tap it and you’ll now have a chance to fine-tune the name of the bookmark:

  4. In this case call the Web icon “PriceCheck” and press the return button to save it.


    5. This completes the Web icon creation process and on your home screen you will see a new addition (as seen on the image above)).

The process is the same for creating a Web icon for your iPad. The only difference is that you open the full PriceCheck website (http://www.pricecheck.co.za) in step one.
